As the Team Lead for Hardware Support & Maintenance at Smart Box, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our digital locker systems. You will also be responsible for leading a small-sized team, with the potential for team growth as our company expands.
Note: Must Have own conveyance
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Hardware Maintenance:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues in digital lockers.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to ensure locker functionality.
Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and replacements when necessary.
- Technical Support:
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding hardware-related inquiries or issues.
Collaborate with the software development team to identify and resolve hardware-software integration problems.
- Team Leadership:
Lead a small-sized hardware support team, providing guidance and mentorship.
Manage team schedules, workload allocation, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Maintain accurate records of hardware maintenance activities, issues, and resolutions.
Create and update hardware support documentation for internal and external use.
- Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and reliability of digital locker hardware by implementing best practices and standards.
Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and customer support, to drive improvements in product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate profile:
- Willing to travel to various outstation locations for troubleshooting at short notice.
- Must have knowledge of Windows troubleshooting, Router & Ip camera configuration.
- Should be comfortable in using OS from command line terminal.
- Should be comfortable to work on Weekends & Night Shifts.
- Should have prior experience in configuring routers, switches, creating ethernet cross and serial cables, etc.
- Experience in installation and commissioning of CCTV, NVR, Ip cameras etc.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic setup, to rout power to various components in lockers & like ATM, Cheque book printing Kiosk.
- Experience in using electrical test equipment.
- Experienced in soldering components and cables.
- Familiar with various operating systems & platforms.
- Experience designing, building, and managing a network infrastructure Experience with /Unix/Windows infrastructure, systems, software, and tools.
- Experience implementing system monitoring infrastructure.
- Basic understanding in networking concepts, based on TCP/IP, storage concepts and server-client based application concepts
- Venture minded, excellent team player, able to work with minimal supervision
- Design, build and maintain normal and smooth operation of operating systems, application systems, databases based on Windows.
