We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a specialization in metal and hardware designing, and proficiency in Solidworks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing metal components for our Smartbox locker systems, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

• Metal Component Design:
  1- Design and develop metal components and hardware for Smartbox lockers using Solidworks.
  2- Optimize designs for manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Prototyping and Testing:
  1- Create prototypes of designed components and conduct tests for functionality, strength, and durability.
  2- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
• Material Selection and Analysis:
  1- Select appropriate metal materials considering factors like strength, weight, and corrosion resistance.
  2- Perform stress analysis and other computational simulations to validate designs.
• Design Documentation:
  1- Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications.
  2- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborative Development:
  1- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to integrate hardware design with overall product functionality.
  2- Provide technical input during product development meetings and design reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically with metal materials.
• Proficiency in Solidworks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to metal, including machining, welding, and forming.
• Knowledge of material properties and design for manufacturability.
